FAQ

So while the event changes a little each year there are still some things that remain the same yet since zombies are our target audience we thought maybe we better add some FAQ and answers to our website for those old and new attendees and followers.

What Time Does The Walk Start?

Each year the walk start time and route is dependent on a few factors mainly the city of cape town and the Traffic Department. We cant star too early in town as many companies are still working and the traffic in town is quite high making the event unsafe to move forward. The start time for this years event is 6pm but we always recommend getting there at least 30 mins before so you can get yourself well prepped for the walk.

What Is The Route For The Walk?

This is similar to the first question. The route has to be approved by the city. As it stands for this year we will meet at the top of company gardens off to the side of the museum near the high school. Walk from there down the side of company gardens crossing into St Georges Mall and walking down to Thiabult Square for photos and then on to Madison Avenue for the Official Zombie Walk 2017 After-party.

Do We Have To Dress Up / Dress Like A Zombie To Take Part?

While the event is the Zombie Walk you dont need to dress the part to take part. Many people come just to take part in the walk and sometimes dress casual, as zombie hunters or as anything Halloween themed. Its really up to you.

How Much Does It Cost To Take Part In The Zombie Walk?

Every year the walk is FREE. We do like to take donations for the Charity in the form of money in any amount but also canned food for the animals and blankets if you can.

Where Can I Get Tickets To The After-Party?

Each year as a thank you and to spend a bit more time with you and look at all the outfits we host an afterparty with some amazing artists and prizes after the walk. Tickets for this can be found here – http://qkt.io/6G7cen. Tickets are limited and normally go fast closer to the event. donations can also be made here from as little as R10.
