Zombie Walk Cape Town 2020 – Guinness World Record Attempt

Agoda WW

A horde of zombies will descend upon the streets of the Mother City, but which side will you be on?

They’re coming…You can run but you can’t hide, so join the undead in a gathering of apocalyptic proportions. The Cape Town Zombie Walk/Fest has become the annual must-attend event for every horror and Halloween enthusiast with the walk going down on Saturday October 31st through the streets of Cape Town where families of all shapes and sizes, and their pets will participate in the gore-filled fun.

You will be able to lumber, groan and limp your way around Cape Town for over an hour as you hunt for your next victim. The walk is also pet-friendly so bring your gizzard-sniffing werewolves-, erm, dogs, along with you. The pet-loving doesn’t stop there; the Zombie Walk makes continual efforts to raise funds for local animal charities, such as the Lucky Lucy Foundation for abused and neglected pets.

Many who participate in the annual walk dress up as their favourite Halloween characters or even go as far as taking their favourite characters, and adding a horrific spin to them. Fellow zombie lovers will be pulling out all the stops with their costumes for the Walk and the After Party, so come dressed in your scariest outfit and make sure your make-up is suitably gory and ghoulish – the more blood the better. The walk is FREE and open to all ages!

🧟‍♂️ Children – Families are always happy to attend the walk as it’s a safe environment to bring the kids for a bit of Halloween fun. This year we have some amazing activates planned for the little ones.

🧟‍♂️ Pets – The walk is pet friendly & you are welcome to bring them along. They must be friendly towards people and animals, must be visible and we ask that you please clean up after them. We invite you to come and meet ice– our ‘pawsome’ ambassador for the Zombie Walk.

🧟‍♂️ Lucky Lucy – We are very big on helping this cause & fighting back against animal abuse and neglect. Donations in any form are appreciated and can be made on the website & on the day before and after the walk. Help save or change a life.

🧟‍♂️ Photos – we receive thousands of photos of the event and you are more than welcome to take as many as you like and share them with the community. We will have a team of photographers on the day and will share the images on our website and social platforms.

🧟‍♂️ Media Coverage – we get a ton of media coverage from TV, radio, magazines, bloggers, websites and newspapers. Let us know if you are keen to be featured in any of these. Let’s make some news headlines.

🧟‍♂️ Dress Code – Let your creativity unfold. Zombie walk sees many people come dressed as zombies, bus as a Halloween event you can come dressed up anyway you like really.
